Thank you for visiting our website.  We’re committed to helping residents know how their tax dollars are allocated, making information transparent and understandable, and involving the community in our budget process.  As part of our continuing enhancements this site was redesigned to help you more easily find budget information, learn more about how the budget process works, and to participate.

The City Manager's Proposed Budget (City Council Report, City Manager's message, updated schedules, and complete budget document) totaling $3.503 billion citywide, including $1.128 billion in the General Fund, for presentation to the Council on May 7, and May 21, 2013 reflects community input and priorities received during the budget hearing process. This year, 20 community budget hearings were conducted throughout the city, which was three more than last year and five more than two years ago. Council action on the budget is scheduled to take place on May 21, 2013. We also offer the opportunity to submit statements via telephone, online comment form, e-mail or paper correspondence.  All of our contact information is provided on this site.
