The City Manager's Proposed Budget (City Council Report, City Manager's message, updated schedules, and complete budget document) totaling $3.503 billion citywide, including $1.128 billion in the General Fund, for presentation to the Council on May 7, and May 21, 2013 reflects community input and priorities received during the budget hearing process. This year, 20 community budget hearings were conducted throughout the city, which was three more than last year and five more than two years ago. Council action on the budget is scheduled to take place on May 21, 2013. We also offer the opportunity to submit statements via telephone, online comment form, e-mail or paper correspondence.
