Councilman Jim Waring will host his monthly community meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Paradise Valley Community Center, 17402 N. 40th St.  

Councilman Waring will be joined by Karen Peters who oversees government relations for the city of Phoenix.  The evening’s discussion will focus on the upcoming state legislative session and the possible impact on the city of Phoenix.
