The city of Phoenix will bring together representatives from across city departments and local businesses for the annual “We Love Green Vendors” showcase from 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 7.  The event will be held at Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St., first floor atrium.  

This free event features a reverse showcase format where green vendors will have the opportunity to meet with multiple city departments and create connections while gaining valuable information on doing business with the city.  Also included in the day’s program are concurrent workshops on small business assistance/certification and one-stop shop, the city’s Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Program, the permitting and startup process, and the city’s new Vendor Management System.  Vendors also will receive information on potential subcontracting opportunities.

Participation is free and vendors are asked to register by Thursday, Jan. 31, by contacting the Office of Environmental Programs at 602-256-5669 or by emailing trudy.merrill@phoenix.
