Passionate about helping the families of the 19 firefighters who perished in the Yarnell Fire, the MUSIC Foundation of Arizona, Arizona Jazz Festival, AP and Associates, LLC and Phoenix City Councilman Michael Johnson have teamed up with several famous jazz artists for an “All-Star Jam” Concert to benefit the families of the fallen to be held at the Orpheum Theatre on Friday, Aug. 2. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available for a minimum donation of $50 per ticket at arizonajazzfestival.com/yarnell or by calling 602-244-8444. All proceeds will benefit the 100 Club, a 501(c) 3 aiding the victims of the Yarnell Fire disaster.
"As we continue to mourn the loss of 19 of our finest firefighters, it is important to remember those left behind, the families of the fallen who need our support and love," said Councilman Johnson. "We have gathered together some of the top jazz musicians in the nation, who have generously waived their fees in support of the families of the fallen firefighters. This event will be a celebration of life and a way to give back to those who gave the ultimate price."
The Music Foundation of Arizona has tickets available for the families of the fallen firefighters to attend if they would like to be part of the evening.
The All-Star Jam will feature artists Brian Culbertson, Dominic Amato, Euge Groove, Richard Elliot, Warren Hill, Eric Darius, Lyfe Jennings, along with many other surprise guests.
