The Phoenix Fire Department produces these shows, which inform the public about various departmental programs and operations.

FireWorks #30
This newest show is all about layers of protection against fires in the home. The topics discussed are smoke alarms, residential fire sprinklers, home escape plans, and fire extinguishers.

FireWorks #29
This show is a special edition that profiles Phoenix Fire Academy's Recruit Class 06-1 through their entire 12-week training academy experience. Thirty recruits from the fire departments of Phoenix, Surprise, Sun City West and Camp Verde are followed from the time they show up for orientation to the time they graduate and become firefighters.

This episode of the show gives an overview of the department which explains all of the different functions and services it provides and highlights the need for some of the projects that will be funded by the new bond program. Also featured is an update on the smoke alarm awareness campaign.
