Council District 1 - CIP Construction Notices

Deem Hills Park

The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department will begin construction of a new park located at 5050 W. Andrea Lane. The new park will include two soccer fields, a basketball court, a restroom, ramadas, barbecue grills and bicycle racks. Construction will begin Spring 2007 with project completion by Spring 2008. The estimated project cost is $4.2 million. Funding for this project is from development impact fees.

Council District 2 - CIP Construction Notices

Dove Valley Park

The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department is constructing Dove Valley Park, located at 4728 E Rancho Paloma Drive, to include open turf area, playground, ramada, picnic area, unlit basketball court, lighted walks and small parking lot. Construction will begin in Summer of 2006, with project completion in Fall of 2006. Funding is provided by the Desert View Impact Fees.

Washington Adult Center Expansion

The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department will begin construction of a new facility, adjacent to the existing facility located at 2240 West Citrus Way. The new facility will include a full size gymnasium, dance room, weight room, restrooms and reception area. Funding for this project is provided by the 2001 Parks Bonds. Construction will begin Fall 2006, with project completion Fall 2007.
