7th Annual Head Start Spring Training with Arizona Diamondbacks
Tune in and see how the Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers and the city of Phoenix treated nearly 300 special-needs preschoolers to a day of spring training fun at Maryvale Stadium.

2008 Employee Memorial Ceremony
The city of Phoenix pays tribute to six employees who died in the line of duty. The city of Phoenix is one of only a few major cities that hosts a public ceremony to recognize fallen employees. The employee memorial ceremony on PHX11 features an organ tribute played by 15-year-old Eric Fricke on the Orpheum Theatre’s Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, public reading of names by representatives from each of the fallen employees’ respective unions and an employee and family recessional leading to the city employee memorial site to unveil the names of the employees honored at this year’s ceremony.

ASU Latin Jazz Ensemble "Looking at Jazz Ensemble"
This final presentation of Phoenix Public Library's "Looking at Jazz: America's Art Form" series features ASU's Latin Jazz Ensemble. The Ensemble, a nine-member band, all students from ASU's Herberger College of Fine Arts, is led by director Dom Moio.

"Arizona 9/11 Memorial Dedication"
Families of victims of 9/11 joined Governor Napolitano and fire officials when the Arizona 9/11 Memorial was unveiled on the State Capital Wesley Bolin Plaza as ceremonies across the state paid tribute to the tragic events of 9/11. Titled, "Moving Memories," the sculptural, featuring a piece of steel beam salvaged from the World Trade Center, is a tangible reminder of the 3,000 lives lost on 9/11/2001.

Tune in and hear the author and Arizona Republic columnist discuss his biography of Bill Thompson, aka "Wallace," the creator of the Wallace and Ladmo show.

Police and neighborhood activists show you that by getting to know your neighbors better with a Block Watch program, you bring safety to where you live. Learn how implementing this program in your own neighborhood can deter crime such as identity theft and meth labs.

Busted: Meth Labs and Drugs in Your Neighborhood
Join PHX 11 producer Stacy Lloyd as she covers a recent conference attended by Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Terry Goddard and gets an in-depth look at the damaging and dangerous issue of methamphetamine in our city. Also featured is a segment on how Phoenix residents can "Fight Back" against this insidious problem in their communities.

Children's Museum of Phoenix: "The Making of a Museum"
By Spring 2008, Phoenix's downtown landscape will be further enriched by the addition of a major downtonw museum, the Children's Museum of Phoenix. This modern juseum is coming to life in a classic downtown building, The Monroe School, a former elementary school built between 1913-1914.

Convention Center Update
Tune in and find out what's new with the renovation of the former Phoenix Civic Plaza, now entering phase two. When completed the high-tech and client-friendly Convention Center will have approximately 900,000 square feet of rentable area with the latest infrastructure, technology and services.

M3: Conversation on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
This Brown Bag program is the latest sponsored by the city of Phoenix Municipal Military Members organization and features Dr. Debbie Gilman and other specialists from the Arizona Vet Center in a question and answer session about the disorder.

Daring Adventures
The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department administers the Adaptive Recreation Program that
offers outdoor recreation programs for teens and adults with disabilities and their non-disabled peers. This episode highlights a recent river rafting trip taken by Parks staff and friends.

Employee Memorial
The city of Phoenix holds this annual ceremony to honor employees who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This year's event honored police officers Paul Salmon and David Uribe.
