Sky Harbor receives important federal stimulus funds to help refurbish a taxiway and create new jobs. Green initiatives at the airport are helping to protect the environment and travelers in Sky Harbor's concourses can pitch in too! America's Friendliest Airport is recruiting volunteers for their Navigator program. See how these individuals are taught to deliver customer service beyond expectations.
Building Phoenix
Phoenix's own reality star Jessica Kinni (VH1's Rock of Love 2; Charm School) showcases a new boutique fashioned inside a once-abandoned historic structure in the Capitol Mall area; a progress report on the billion dollar, mixed-use development in Downtown Phoenix known as CityScape; and a 1970s office building is recycled to become a modern Mecca that's raised the bar for accessibility.

Eveything Phoenix with Sydney Blaine
Sydney Blaine hosts this program, shot on-location at "Civic Space Park" in downtown Phoenix. We start with an overview of the nearly 3-acre park, which sits between Central and 1st Ave. Paula Moore reports on the many fun and innovative features at this new urban park. Next, Deborah Sedillo Dugan reports on the most dominant feature of the park, the 145 foot high public art sculpture. We also hear about restoration of the historic building which anchors the park….and, later in the program, a special story on creating more shade in our city.
2009 Employee Memorial Ceremony
The City of Phoenix honors employees who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Taped on-location at the Orpheum Theatre.
WaterWorks with Ken Kroski
Water Works, a new program created by the city of Phoenix’s Water Services Department, is hosted by Ken Kroski. Topics of discussion include water resources planning and the department’s capital improvement plan used to maintain water and wastewater infrastructure. Water Services’ Ray Quay and Madeline Goddard, as well as Phoenix Channel 11’s Deborah Sedillo-Dugan, appear on the program.The show also repeats a multi-award winning public service announcement starring actor Leslie Nielsen.

Authors & Poets Lecture Series: Stella Pope Duarte
Educator, community activist and author, Stella Pope Duarte, presents her third book, If I Die In Juarez, based on her research in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Duarte weaves a compelling story of three young women living in the border town and how their worlds are affected by the violence in their city.

Councilwoman Peggy Neely hosts a public forum featuring education and public safety at Paradise Valley Community College's Center for Performing Arts. Her "On the Issues" program features highlights of the discussion.

Vice Mayor Tom Simplot discusses the state budget with State Rep. Eric Meyer, highlights the upcoming Historic Homeowners’ Expo and learns about a new swim program at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. To close the show, he highlights Phoenix Theatre’s plans for expansion.
    District 5 Councilman Claude Mattox
Councilman Claude Mattox meets the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) new federal security director at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and discusses the TSA's relationship with the assistant director of the city's Aviation Department. He learns about the importance of CPR and how you can be trained to save a life. To close the show, he features the Citizen Police Academy, a free program offered to residents and business owners by the Phoenix Police Department.

Councilman Sal DiCiccio shares his thoughts on the recent 620 land purchase in Ahwatukee Foothills and his proposed Camelback Opportunity Corridor with co-host David J. Ramirez. DiCiccio then speaks with active residents to discuss their involvement with the projects and the next steps.

Councilman Michael Nowakowski discusses how Phoenix was recently named the All-America City Award and meets with members of the delegation.
