Project Description: Support to create and distribute a catalogue of works


Artist: Carolyn Broe
Project Description: Support to present a lecture and viola recital at the NSOA conference in Reno, Nevada. The presentation will feature
a musical composition by local composer, Louise Lincoln Kerr.


Artist: Ernie Button
Project Description: Support to attend Photolucida in Portland, OR. Photolucida is an opportunity to present a portfolio of work to gallery
owners, curators, critics, collectors and publishers from the US and abroad.


Artist: Christopher Danowski
Project Description: Support for travel and expenses to participate in Translocality: Discussing Culture and Change in the 21st Century, a
conference in Merida at the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, May 3-8, 2005. Danowski will present his solo performance piece "No Ocean Between Us."


Artist: Carolina Escobar
Project Description: Support to present an exhibition of the artist's works created at Yaddo Art Colony at Art Detour, March 4-6, 2005. The project will serve to re-launch the artist's career after a hiatus from regularly exhibiting in New York and establish the artist in the Phoenix community.


Artist: Mary Fitzgerald
Project Description: Funding for original choreographed work that will be presented at New York Dance Festival.


Artist: Luis Gutierrez
Project Description: Support for development of a webpage, including purchase of Microsoft Front Page and film processing materials.


Artist: Julie Hampton
Project Description: Support to attend the Atlantic Center for the Arts to develop a piece entitled, "Hung" with choreographer, John
Jasperse.

Artist: Bridget Harper
Project Description: Support to attend Ceramic Arts conference to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, March 15-19, 2005. The conference
workshops will expand the artist's knowledge and improve the technical and conceptual aspects of her work.

Artist: Dwayne Hartford
Project Description: Support to attend the Theater Communications Group National Conference in Seattle, Washington. The conference
will provide the artist with an opportunity to network with other conference attendees and introduce them to his
recently published plays.

Artist: Heidi Hesse
Project Description: Support for a 5 month residency at the National Art Studio Korea. The last month of residency will feature a solo
exhibition of Hesse's work. The residency offers opportunity for artistic exhange and the learning of new techniques.

Artist: Mona Higuchi
Project Description: Support to design a website and transfer of images and video to digital format for use on the site.

Artist: Susanne Holly Brent
Project Description: Support to attend writer's conference at ASU.

Artist: Sarah Kriehn
Project Description: Funding to work with master printmaker Christine Sandifur for eight full-day sessions learning new techniques and career advice.


Artist: Sandi Long
Project Description: Support to attend a three day workshop at the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland Oregon. The artist hopes to broaden her use of materials and techniques, and learn new ways to combine material and imagery.

Project Description: Support for registration and travel fees for a conference in Boston.

Project Description: Support for ImagOn materials and fees for 2 day workshop

Artist: Danya Tiller
Project Description: Support to attend the Chorus America Convention in Washington, D.C. The conference will provide tools and
resources to develop high school choir of Phoenix Bach Choir.

Artist: Kate Timmerman
Project Description: Support to attend a two week intensive workshop on lumber selection, milling, joinery, assembly and finishing in Rockland, Maine. The workshop will inform and expand the artists current work which includes incorporation of wood working techniques.

Artist: Joan Waters
Project Description: Support to attend the Society of North American Goldsmiths Conference in Chicago, Ill, May 24-28, 2006. the
conference focuses on excellence in all aspects of metal art.
