City
Auditor Department - Employment
Across
the country the need for internal audit professionals is at an all
time high. Organizations and the related reporting of their financial
conditions are growing more and more complex. At the same time,
financial markets, investors, customers and taxpayers demand more
transparency and confidence in the financial information provided
by organizations.
Public accounting firms,
private sector businesses, and government entities all compete for
the same experienced audit professionals and new college graduates
that have the technical, analytical, and communication skills to
meet the ever increasing demand for internal and external audit
services.
At the City Auditor Department
our success in meeting our mission and maximizing the value we add
to our organization is dependent on one critical factor: the talent
of the staff we can attract and retain. Managers at the City Auditor
Department are evaluated not only based on output, economic impact,
and percentage of the audit plan completed but also on employee
satisfaction. While we didn’t invent the approach that satisfied
employees lead to satisfied customers, we certainly strive for that
at the City Auditor Department.
When
a vacancy occurs, job recruitments are
posted on the city's general employment
opportunities web site. For more information about city employment,
please

of Phoenix Job Opportunities.
The City
Auditor Department fully endorses and supports the concept of equal
business and employment opportunities for all individuals. Please
see the attached for our department's
Commitment to Equal Opportunity.
