Statement
of Commitment - EO/Affirmative Action
The City Auditor Department's management staff fully endorses
and supports the concept of equal business and employment opportunities
for all individuals, regardless of race, color, sex, religion,
age, national origin, or handicap. The purpose of this statement
is to reaffirm the Department's commitment to this concept and
to the Equal Employment Opportunity Policy as established by
the Phoenix City Council.
This includes "reaching out" to the Disadvantaged, Minority,
and Women Business Enterprises in the City for opportunities
to do business as well as striving to reach qualified applicants
whose hire would provide the greatest cultural diversity to
our staff. It also includes efforts to reach people having disabilities
with news of employment and business opportunities with our
Department and to communicate our desire to accommodate needs
they may have that would make their affiliation possible.
City Auditor management staff also commits to ceaseless efforts
to maintain a positive work environment, free of discrimination,
and dedicated to maximizing employee potential.
