City Auditor Department - Administrative Hearing Process
The Phoenix City Code requires that the City Auditor Department provide hearing officers to conduct independent administrative reviews of protests of utility billings, false burglar alarm assessments and seized property. We also conduct the following special hearings: streets right-of-way, Internet privacy, loud party, name clearing, and sidewalk vendor. These protests are heard through oral hearings and/or written correspondence. The hearing function provides an opportunity for the resident to be heard in a fair and impartial forum.
