City Of Québec, Canada Project Description

Implementation of a Local Economic Development Center in the City of Québec

Project description

The project consists in identifying with other members of the cluster learning points related to the involvement of the City of Québec in the implemention on its territory of a new national policy for support to local and regional development.

Learning points should relate to:

By the year 2010, approximately 120 000 jobs shall have been created to maintain the same rate.

As we expressed our expectations about this project in Wiesbaden, we are particularly looking for learning points about the following municipal practices:

The project involves the participation of administrators and members of the staff of the newly formed Local Development Center as well as municipal administrators and councillors of the City of Québec. It is also planned to exchange with people involved in the implementation of other LDC's in the the Province.
