Request for Proposals for #PT 08-006 - Manfacture and Delivery of Transit Buses

NOTE: Deadline for submissions has been changed to May 29, 2008, 2:00 p.m. local time.

The Public Transit Department of the city of Phoenix, Arizona is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide transit buses, for a three (3) year period. The estimated start date is June 1, 2008, and expiring on May 31, 2011. City may extend the period of the agreement up to two (2) additional years, to be exercised in one-year increments.

Any questions that arise relating to this RFP shall be directed, in writing, to Kimberly Hayden at the above address, or via e-mail, by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. local time. Interested proposers should convene at City of Phoenix, Public Transit Department, 302 North First Avenue, 9th Floor, Room 9A, Phoenix, Arizona 85003.

Proposals will be received by the Public Transit Department, Suite 900, 302 North First Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85003, until May 29, 2008, 2:00 P.M., local time. Late proposals will not be considered.
