Request for Proposals for Vehicle Make-Ready Services

The Public Transit Department of the city of Phoenix, Arizona is inviting qualified firms to submit a written Request for Proposals (RFP) response to conduct make-ready inspections and operational preparation on transit vehicles. The three (3) year contract shall commence on or about October 1, 2008. The City may, at their option and with approval of the successful Proposer, extend the period of this contract to two (2) additional years, in one (1) year increments.

Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference. The conference will be held on August 7, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., local time, in conference room 9B, at 302 North 1st Avenue, 9th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. The terms, conditions, and scope of work will be reviewed and discussed.

Any questions that arise relating to this RFP shall be directed, in writing, to Kimberly Hayden at the above address, or via e-mail, by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2008.

Proposals will be received by the Public Transit Department, Suite 900, 302 North First Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85003, until September 4, 2008, 2:00 P.M., local time. Late proposals will not be considered.
