Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for
Utilization and/or Sale of Digester Gas at the 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatement Plant

The City of Phoenix, Arizona is announcing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to assist the Water Services Department with the utilization and/or sale of anaerobic digester gas at the 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 5616 South 91st Avenue, in Tolleson, Arizona. The 91st Avenue WWTP produces approximately 2.5 million cubic feet (mcf) of anaerobic digester gas each day. The city is proposing to make available approximately 1.8 mcf of gas per day during the winter and 2.5 mcf per day during the summer for sale or other beneficial uses. Respondents are required to provide conceptual details of the proposed utilization of the digester gas in the Statements of Qualifications. The City will consider all proposals to sell or otherwise utilize the digester gas in an environmentally responsible and safe manner that will provide benefits to the City of Phoenix. A Project Information Packet is available to interested respondents.

A Statement of Qualifications pre-submittal conference will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008, at the Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 North Central Avenue, 1st Floor Auditorium, Phoenix, Arizona 85004.
