Student Filmmaker Bios

Jamie Murdick
Jamie is a recent graduate from ASU's Walter Conkrite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. "I am humbled by my experience in making this film. I learned more about a religion aside from my own than I could have imagined. I think our film shines a little sunlight on people of Muslim faith and helps others understand them with a fresh perspective."

Stjepan Alaupovic
Stjepan is a former know99 intern and a current know99 freelancer and has completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from ASU. "Working on this documentary was a great overall experience. It made me realize that this is the kind of work I want to do the rest of my life. It takes a lot of hard work and patience but the end result of a project is worth every minute. Thank you to all the people who helped make our film possible and to all those who have inspired me."

Zabihullah Noori

Zabihullah received his Master's degree in Media and Mass Communication. "The film is rich of scenes and grasping shots which sometimes make the viewers go deep in thoughts, while other times make them laugh."
