There shall be a City Sealer of Weights and Measures with powers and duties the same as prescribed for the State Inspector of Weights and Measures, except as to State institutions located within the City.

Sec. 38-2. Fees for inspecting, testing and sealing.

Any person owning or using weights or measures shall pay to the City Sealer of Weights and Measures the following fees for inspecting, testing and sealing the same:

Fee

Counter scales . . . . $0.50

Portable platform 1,000 lbs. or less . . . . 1.00

Portable platform more than 1,000 lbs. . . . . 2.00

Dormant on floor . . . . 5.00

Truck scales . . . . 5.00

Spring scales 30 lbs. or less . . . . 0.50

Spring scales more than 30 lbs. . . . . 1.50

Steel yards . . . . 2.50

Wall scales . . . . 2.00

Measure 1 gallon or less . . . . 0.25

Measure more than 1 gallon, for each additional gallon . . . . 0.25

Measuring pumps . . . . 1.00

Meters– Bulk . . . . 5.00

Meters– Other . . . . 2.50
