Inspections

Inspections are conducted to insure compliance with the approved building plans, city codes, city ordinances, and other requirements. As each element of construction is completed, the customer or his/her contractor contacts the Development Services Department to schedule an inspection of the completed construction before covering or concealing the construction. Inspections continue until final inspection approval is obtained. In general your inspection will be scheduled for the next business day.

Information needed for request
* Permit number – this is located in the upper left corner of the permit form.
* Key Number - this number is printed on the receipt when your permit was issued (only for use if requesting inspection via internet)
* Inspections Codes - View the types of inspection codes available and select the appropriate code for your needs. A verbal listing of the code types is also provided when requesting inspections by phone.
