Street Right-of-Way and Improvements

As a general guide, you may use the references below for information regarding the necessary right of way needed for city streets and improvements. You should always confirm your development requirement with the Development Services Department before preceding with your project.

Right of Way

• Residential/Commercial - Minimum 50' (25' half street)
• Industrial - Minimum 60' (30' half street)

Improvements

• Single Family Residential
  • 33.16' of paving with roll curb and 4' sidewalk adjacent to curb
  • 29.16' of paving with vertical curb and 5' sidewalk setback 5' from the curb
• Multi-family/Commercial
  • 36' to face of vertical curb
• Industrial
  • 40' to face of vertical curb
