Downtown Civic Space

Downtown Civic Space

BACKGROUND

The proposed civic space is intended as an amenity for all constituencies downtown - residents, workers, visitors, businesses, and the university community. While ASU may be a dominant user, all should be invited to enjoy and participate in the life of this amenity.

The area from the transit block to the post office should be considered an urban design project such that all of the buildings and spaces - both existing and new - work in a coordinated fashion to achieve the maximum results.
