Where can I find qualified employees?
CEDD has a network of more than 100 workforce agencies and schools. If you send us a Job Order with your requirements, we will distribute the information to our network. The Job Order is online at http://phoenix.gov/ECONDEV/workforc.pdf, Appendix A. Our network list can be found in Section 1. The job openings must be quality jobs. In 2002, jobs should be full time, pay at least $9.58 per hour and provide more than half the cost of health insurance.

Where can I find tax credits for hiring employees or training grants?
Section 2 of the directory found at http://phoenix.gov/PHXWC/br_train.html has a listing of tax credits and training grants for employers.

Where can I find workforce resources such as childcare, transportation to work and English as a second language?
Section 3 of the directory found at http://phoenix.gov/PHXWC/br_resou.html has workforce resources for employers.

Where can I find information regarding employee training?

Where can I find information regarding job fairs?

Where can I find prevailing wages information?
A recent survey of the Greater Phoenix Labor Market can be found at www.usworks.com/phoenix. The site information includes prevailing wages, average time to fill, hard to fill positions, best paying occupations, largest employers, and lists of employers in a given industry.

Where can I get information regarding Enterprise Zones?
The City of Phoenix Enterprise Zone web site is www.phoenix.gov/BUSINESS/enterzon.html. Additional information can be obtained at the Arizona Department of Commerce web site: www.azcommerce.com, finance, enterprise zones.
