Sample Ballot and Publicity Pamphlet

On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, the City of Phoenix will hold a Special Election to decide a ballot measure that would extend the existing sales tax for parks and preserves that is scheduled to expire in 2009.

During the week of April 14, 2008, the City Clerk Department will mail a sample ballot and publicity pamphlet to each registered voter residing in Phoenix. The pamphlet contains a sample ballot identifying the ballot proposition. The pamphlet also identifies the polling places and includes information about voting, a list of early and accessible voting locations and a list of acceptable identification that can be used when voting at the polls.

The Publicity Pamphlet is available in alternative formats, including Braille, large print, audio tape and computer diskette, upon request. To request an alternative format of the pamphlet, please call the City Clerk Department at 602-261-VOTE (8683), TTY 602-534-2737. Requests for alternative formats must be received by April 25, 2008.
