With an entry theme of "That's a Rap" open your mind to the world of Magic and Illusion with this City of Phoenix float brought to you by the Parks and Recreation Department. This magical float combines whimsy and wonderment featuring over 60,000 colorful lights which, if lined up after one another stretch the distance of over an entire mile. The 30 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 13 feet high float stars Lizzie, a not so small dragon who stands at over 13 feet tall directing all the action. The float also features a magical hat, that if you watch closely, will surprise you with its hidden tricks. The real magic of this float comes from the Parks and Recreation Department workers who put magic into people's lives and imaginations every day.
