Petroleum Stores
The Petroleum Stores Section is responsible for the management, purchase and distribution of more than eight million gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel to city facilities each year. The Section makes more than 2,800 annual fuel deliveries to more than 120 different sites throughout the city of Phoenix within 48 hours of request.
Surplus Property
The Surplus Property section is responsible for the receipt, redistribution, sale or disposal of goods and equipment items no longer needed by city departments. Last fiscal year the section received approximately 23,000 items and generated over $2,000,000 in sales or auction proceeds. Four public auctions are held each year and 300-500 people attend each auction.
