Plan Review Process

The City of Phoenix and the Phoenix Fire Department's Fire Prevention Division want to make the new construction plan review and permit process as customer friendly as possible. For this reason the City of Phoenix has created the Development Process Guide web site to assist you. The guide was developed to assist the general public with understanding and navigating the City of Phoenix development review process. The goal is to provide a basic understanding of various city requirements when seeking to develop property within the city of Phoenix.

What is the Coffee Forum: The Coffee Forums are opportunities for contractors, engineers, architects, and other members of the public to dialogue with the Fire Department, Development Services and AFP staff about Fire Systems Design and Installations. New policies, clarification of existing code requirements, future code proposals, and special hazards can all make the agenda.
