SOLID WASTE FEES AND BILLING
The fee for solid waste services, including garbage and trash collection and disposal, repair and replacement of containers, dead animal pickup, enforcement activities, and recycling and other environmental programs, is on your monthly municipal services bill.
The solid waste fee begins when your water service is started and ends when water service is discontinued. For more information on service and current rates, call the Solid Waste Customer Service Section at (602) 262-7251 or e-mail to pwserve@phoenix.gov.
DEAD ANIMAL PICKUP
City right-of-way:
The City of Phoenix will remove dead animals in city right-of-way. Please call (602) 262-6791 to make arrangements. It is illegal to bury a dead animal or place it in your garbage or recycling container for collection.Private property:
Dead animals on private property can be picked up by commercial companies for a fee, please consult a telephone directory.Freeway/Highways:
