Public Safety/Crime Prevention

Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program

Description Grants up to $10,000 are available to community organizations and Block Watch groups for projects that fight crime and improve the safety and quality of life in neighborhoods. Applicants may complete a simple one-page form for grants up to $1,000 or a more detailed form for grants up to $10,000.

Deadline Applications are available online, at the front desk of Police Headquarters (620 W. Washington St.) or at all six police precinct stations. 2009 applications are available beginning early January. For more information on the application process, visit phoenix.gov/police/nbwgrant.html.
Workshops Workshops are conducted during January each year. Watch for more information.
