Programs for youth also are funded by the Community Development Block Grant program.

Focus on Results Grants

Description Grants up to $12,000 each are available for schools to focus on diversity and student participation. The application also will focus on one issue or idea identified in the 2006 Youth Town Hall. All programs or activities must occur between July 2, 2007 and June 30, 2008. To be eligible, middle or high schools must be located in Phoenix or have more than 50 percent of the school attendance boundary within Phoenix city limits. In addition, youth must be involved in developing and implementing the proposal.
