    Located in Northwest Phoenix, this 148-unit apartment complex succeeds in offering tranquil, attractive affordable living. Desert Meadows is conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants, a major event venue, grocery stores, restaurants and the bus line. Desert Meadows also has the additional amenities of a tennis court, clubhouse and a playground. Potlucks, game nights and coffee hour are illustrations of the planned activities provided for the residents.

    Desert Meadows offers spacious studio, one-bedroom and two- bedroom apartment homes, for residents with very low, low and moderate incomes. There are sixteen (16) studio apartments , seventy-seven (77) one bedroom apartments and fifty-five (55) two-bedroom apartments. The studio apartments are 413 square feet. Desert Meadows offers varied size one and two bedroom apartments; one-bedroom apartments are 611 or 658 square feet and two-bedroom apartments are 850 or 900 square feet. Each size apartment is offered at each income level.

    The monthly rental amount for a studio apartment at Desert Meadows is $358 for a very low income family, $368 for a low income family and $441 for a moderate income family. The monthly rental amount for a one-bedroom apartment is $384-$394 for a very low income family, $394-$404 for a low income family and $472-$477 for a moderate income family. The monthly rental amount for a two-bedroom apartment is $410-$425 for a very low income family, $420-$435 for a low income family and $501-$518 for a moderate income family. The one and two bedroom apartments range in price due to the different sizes available. Rental agreements and renewals may be negotiated for terms of six months to one year. Residents that have completed one regular rental term may go on a month by month basis for an additional $25 per month. Please refer to the diagram below for minimum and maximum (gross) yearly income requirements.
