DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Effective Date: 06/92N
A Secretary II on assignment to Precinct is responsible for providing sole secretarial support to three shifts of sworn personnel operating out of the assigned Police Precinct. Duties include maintaining division personnel and administrative files; updating various rosters, weekly payroll time forms, and logs; answering and screening phone calls for the Precinct Commander; and typing various memos and reports, such as employee misconduct investigations, responses to citizen complaints, written reprimands, employee performance appraisals, Police Equipment Accident Reports, and search warrants. The Secretary II, Assign: Precinct reports directly to an Administrative Sergeant.
