DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

A Police Automated Systems Secretary on Lead assignment prepares weekly work schedules and assigns duties to other PACE secretaries in addition to performing all the duties required of a Police Automated Systems Secretary. A Police Automated Systems Secretary on Lead assignment also has full responsibility for training subordinates without the assistance of a Police Records and Identification Bureau Shift Supervisor, and performs the duties of a Police Records and Identification Bureau Shift Supervisor upon request or in the absence of the supervisor.
