DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Tax Hearing Officer on assignment as Chief is responsible for assigning, reviewing, and supervising the work of Tax Hearing Officers and/or other employees assigned to the Hearing function. The employee reviews all administraive rulings for consistency of decisions rendered and oversees all routine administrative details of the Hearing function. This assignment is distinguished from the base class by the supervisory and administrative duties performed.
