DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Internal Auditor IV on assignment to EDP is responsible for being the City Auditor Department’s lead auditor on Electronic Data Processing (EDP) audits. The incumbent’s duties include leading the department’s audits of City computer systems, serving as the in-house technology expert, and serving as the primary City Auditor representative on evaluations of the election process.

The requirement for expert knowledge and experience in computer system auditing distinguishes this assignment from the base class.
