DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Aviation Supervisor I on assignment in specialized Airfield Maintenance is responsible for supervising the work of maintenance crews engaged in asphalt paving and repair; paint striping; cement construction and repair; security fence installation and repair; heavy equipment operations; and sign manufacturing, installation, and repair. This assignment differs from the base class by the more technically complex work and greater range of duties.
