DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The fundamental reason this classification exists is to analyze, develop, and implement economic and socio-economic studies and models designed to ensure that the Water Services Department's rate models and long-range financial plans are based on valid economic assumptions and theory. A high degree of expertise in utility rate modeling, and supervision of other Economic Analysts and a Water Resource Specialist distinguishes the Lead assignment from the base class.
