ASSIGN: GANGMOWER

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Equipment Operator II on this assignment is responsible for operating the "gangmower." This is a large tractor with rear and front reels and two retractable reels on both sides. They mow the grass in parks and on golf courses. This assignment is differentiated by mower operators in the Equipment Operator III class by mowing on off-road property. The Equipment Operator III mowers are used for road shoulders and medians.
