DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Municipal Security Guard, on assignment to Badge Imaging, is responsible for taking employee photos and creating individual identification badges for a designated portion of City employees. This position is also responsible for receiving personal and confidential information from departments and determining appropriate access levels to be assigned to City employees. This position may also serve as Lead in the absence of a supervisor or Municipal Security Guard on a Lead assignment.

This assignment is distinguished from the base classification by its access to confidential employee information and its responsibility to serve as Lead.
