Training Bureau

Training Prosecutor The Training Bureau is responsible for training newly hired prosecutors. The training program is a three month, all-inclusive program designed to provide a solid foundation for attorneys in criminal prosecution. A three week training program is provided to legal secretaries, legal assistants, victim advocates, legal clerks, administrative assistants, and volunteers.

The Training Bureau also coordinates continuing legal education seminars for the Law Department, coordinates the annual Law Department CLE, develops training programs, and supervises the Internship Program.

Upon request, the Training Bureau provides training to other city departments, outside agencies, and the community on criminal justice issues including domestic violence issues.

The Bureau consists of attorneys, a computer compliance administrator, an administrative assistant, and legal secretaries.

Our mission is to fairly, efficiently, and justly prosecute those who violate the law. We seek justice for crime victim and endeavor to make Phoenix a safer community in which to live.
