City Manager Executive Report
This report provides information to the public, the City Manager, and other elected officials on the performance of the city. The report is organized into three main categories:
- Organizational Indicators
These provide information in areas which are of broad public interest. The measures in this section often reflect the efforts of multiple departments.
- External Indicators
These provide information on departments whose primary interaction is with people and organizations in the community. This section includes departments that provide direct services to residents such as the Library, departments that enforce City ordinances such as the Police Department, and departments that contribute to the City's infrastructure such as the Street Transportation Department.
- Internal Indicators
These include information about departments that primarily interact with other City departments. These departments may occasionally interact with parties outside the organization but primarily provide services that enable other departments to serve the community. One example of such a department is the Personnel Department, which conducts employee testing and recruiting to fill vacancies in all City departments.
