Councilman Greg Stanton Goes Back to School
Councilman Greg Stanton recently launched a new program targeted to welcome parents, students and educators back to school. Throughout the months of August and September, Stanton will visit dozens of schools in his district, which include the areas of Ahwatukee Foothills, Arcadia, Biltmore and north Central Phoenix.
To celebrate the kick-off of this program, Stanton and his staff will distribute book marks during the next three weeks during the first day of school for various schools across the district. During his Back to School visits, he will participate in different activities including brown bag lunches with teachers, serving as a crossing guard, speaking to social studies classes and serving lunch to students in the cafeteria. Below is a list of current confirmed activities:
