The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to take a step back in time and enjoy a piece of history while viewing beautifully restored historic vehicles from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 at Heritage and Science Park. Visitors will marvel at these automotive jewels and vintage travel trailers at this free event staged in the perfect setting – Historic Heritage Square.
Historic Heritage Square is a striking remnant of Phoenix’s Victorian past dating from the late 1800’s. Museums, shops and restaurants inhabit the block, which encompasses the only group of residential structures from the original town site.
Antique and classic car owners who would like to exhibit their vehicles must contact Tammy Parker at 602-262-5071. Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information visit phoenix.gov/PARKS/heritage.html. Heritage and Science Park/ Historic Heritage Square is located at Sixth and Monroe Streets.
