Councilman Simplot Hosts Moonlight Movie in the Park

Councilman Tom Simplot will host a Moonlight Movie in the Park on Saturday, June 16, at sundown (approximately 7:30 p.m.) at the Steele Indian School Park Amphitheater, Third Street and Indian School Road. The featured movie will be “The Goonies,” a family-favorite adventure film about a pirate’s map, an underground maze and hidden pirate’s treasure.

“This family-friendly movie features a group of kids on a wild adventure in search of hidden treasure,” said Simplot. “Moonlight Movies are a great way to spend a summer evening, so pack a basket, a blanket and the kids – and we’ll see you under the stars at Steele Indian School Park.”

Also, mark your calendar for the next Moonlight Movie featuring “Jurassic Park” scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22. For additional information, call 602-262-7447 or visit phoenix.gov/district4.
