Councilman Greg Stanton and The Arizona Republic will host an Ahwatukee Foothills Town Hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in the auditorium of Desert Vista High School, 16440 S. 32nd St. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for an informal meet and greet. This will be an exciting forum for residents and elected representatives to engage in dialogue concerning pertinent community issues.
The event will feature elected officials from all levels of government, including the confirmed participants: Congressman Harry Mitchell, Sen. John Huppenthal, Rep. Bob Robson and Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock. Gov. Janet Napolitano also has been invited to participate.
Each elected official will be given a two-minute period for introductory remarks that will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.
