Phoenix Public Library will hold a free developmental screening for children ages 3 to 6 on Saturday, April 12, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.
The screening will be in English and Spanish and includes hearing, vision, speech and language, social development, motor skills, pre-literacy and pre-reading skills. Participants will also receive practical tips to help their child get ready to read.
The free screening is sponsored by the Arizona Literacy & Learning Center. Registration is required. To register, visit the Children’s Place at Burton Barr Central Library.
