The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to view one of the most anticipated exhibits in the Valley - Arte Latino en la Ciudad. From May 2 to 23, the Phoenix Center for the Arts will feature original two and three dimensional artwork from Arizona’s Latino artists that reflects their personal interpretation of identity, diversity and community.
A free opening night reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the evening of the May 2 First Friday Art Tour, featuring light refreshments and live entertainment. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday by appointment only. The center is located at 214 E. Moreland, south of McDowell Road.
