Pueblo Grande Museum will present its 5th Annual Native American Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. The market will feature products, produce and works from Native American farmers and artists from various local communities such as the Salt River Pima Maricopa and the Gila River.
The art and crafts on display will include gourd crafts, saguaro cactus jewelry, pottery, herbal products, and much more. Kids can enjoy a children’s activity area that focuses on agriculturally related and fall-themed crafts. Children also can pick out and decorate a pumpkin from the patch on the museum grounds. Competitive participants can join their age group in a watermelon eating contest. Frybread fans will be able to make purchases from an on-site vendor.
