If you represent a nonprofit organization and are new to writing grant proposals, plan to attend a free Grant Writing Basics workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave., in the fourth floor lecture room.
The workshop will cover the basics of proposal writing and budgeting. It will include the key components of a grant proposal, how the proposal should be packaged, how to determine a budget amount and the relationship between a project budget and your organization’s budget.
