The city of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department, Small Business Division, will host "Primer on Wage and Hour Law and Potential Claims." The seminar costs $30 and will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Phoenix City Hall, assembly room B, 200 W. Washington St.

The seminar will be facilitated by Denise Blommel, an attorney who specializes in employer-employee relations. Blommel is co-author of "Arizona Employment Law Handbook" and several articles on employment law.

The workshop is part of a series of legal clinics designed to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs about law-related topics crucial to business success.
