Burton Barr Central Library will host an exhibit of sculpture by Vicky Levy titled “My Work, My Passion,” Feb. 1 – 28 at the library’s @Central Gallery, 1221 N. Central Ave. A free artist reception will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1. Refreshments will be served.
Levy, an artist residing in Mexico City, creates bronze sculptures of the human form. Her artwork is presented by Phoenix Public Library and the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix.
Visit @Central Gallery on the first Friday of each month for an artist’s reception then take a shuttle to Artlink First Friday, a free self-guided tour of downtown Phoenix galleries and art spaces.
